We tested both methods and found that you simply remove your old lock, put some screws into the new smart lock, and then connect it with Bluetooth to your phone. The entire process should really take less than thirty minutes (including removing the old lock) for most people.
Connecting the lock to your phone is easy. To connect, you need to open up your phone’s Bluetooth settings and then press the button on the bottom of the lock under the word “connect.” Once you hit connect, you will see a message telling you that it has been paired with your phone.
